July 2020, Trying to Recap the Latest Events

The situation in South Korea is getting more and more complicated, and now there are serious concerns about the possible collusion between Shincheonji and a political party. Their common target is the minister of justice, Mrs. Choo. I felt the need to make a summary of the latest events and so here it is.

  1. Charges against Lee Man-hee

Lee Man-hee is suspected of purposedely submitting to the authorities an incomplete list of the believers and of the facilities of Shincheonji, putting at risk the health of the Korean citizens in order to protect the 'secrets' of the organization (https://shincheonji360.blogspot.com/2020/08/sbs-feb-27-2020-camouflage-churches.html

He is also accused of embezzling 5.6 billion won that he used for the construction of the Palace of Peace. So basically he used the money of the organization (the members' donations) to build his own mansion (https://shincheonji360.blogspot.com/2020/07/shincheonji-members-where-are-your.html)

Finally, he is suspected of holding religious events at public facilities without approval from the local governments.

To clear the facts about these charges Lee Man-hee has been summoned by the prosecution. The first time, on July 17, he claimed he wanted to interrupt the questioning because he has a chronic disease. The second time he didn't even show up. (https://shincheonji360.blogspot.com/2020/08/lee-man-hee-doesnt-comply-with.html).

Finally he complied with the prosecutors and today he is having the last session of the questioning before the final resolution about his arrest (an arrest warrant has already been issued: https://shincheonji360.blogspot.com/2020/08/sbs-july-28-2020-prosecutors-requests.html)

2. The video conference of the Shincheonji leaders on July 20 (https://shincheonji360.blogspot.com/2020/08/shincheonji-executive-order-to.html )

After Lee man-hee was summoned for the first time, the various leaders of Shincheonji got together to discuss the situation. Here is what the Shincheonji executive who led the conference came up with:

a) He said Lee Man-hee doesn’t have a chronic disease, he felt a sudden pain due to the excessive pressures of the prosecutors

b) He said the real culprit for the Coron a spreading is the minister of Justice, Mrs. Choo, because she didn’t close the borders. She is now trying to put all the blame on Shincheonji.

c) He said Minister Choo convinced the prosecutors to raid the Shincheonji facilities offering them a promotion if they took Lee Man-hee into custody (actually, the raid was meant to secure the proofs to confirm or deny the charges against the Shincheonji executives before they got rid of them)

d) He asked that the Shincheonji members sign a petition to impeach and dismiss the Minister Choo. He said the petition was not posted by Shincheonji (but wait to see what comes next…)

e) He asked that the believers write letters and post comments all over the internet against Minister Choo (pretending not to be Shincheonji) in order to influence the public opinion in their favour (letters like this one: https://shincheonji360.blogspot.com/2020/08/shincheonjis-political-propaganda_28.html )

f) He asked the Shincheonji believers not to leave any trace and not to say they received an order from the General Assembly. Rather, they should say it’s their own initiative.

g) Lastly and most importantly, he asked the believers to watch a video where Jang Je-won, a congressman of the Future United Party, questions and tries to shame Minister Choo even asking her, “Are you the queen?”

He then hinted to the fact that Minister Choo may be the real ‘queen’ of Revelation 18.

This leads straight to the next point:

3. The relationship between Shincheonji and the congressman in the video

One might think that the video of the United Party congressman shaming Minister Choo is just coincidentally mentioned. But… there’s nothing coincidental when it comes to Shincheonji.

If we take a step back to that day when Lee Man-hee ‘apologized’ about the Corona events and got on his knees (https://youtu.be/gD8aydcKmfc)

we can see in that occasion he was wearing a golden (or solid gold?) watch, and some say he made sure it showed, peeking out under the shortish sleeve. On the watch was the emblem of the former president Park Geun-hye. This lady was sentenced to 25 years in 2018 (more about her: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Park_Geun-hye). She belonged to the Saenuri Party that after the scandal conveniently changed its name and became… The United Future Party! The one of the video that the Shincheonji members should watch and share!

And even a few years ago, in November 2014, the then leader of the Saenuri party caused a stir by taking a picture with one of the 12 tribe leaders of Shincheonji.

But it could still be a coincidence. However, it doesn’t end here.

4. The response of the United Future Party

Yesterday (July 30), at the National Assembly, a congressman of the Democratic Party (the party of the minister of justice and of the current president) asked to the United Party to clarify their position because all these facts are bringing up the suspicion of a collusion between the United Party and Shincheonji https://shincheonji360.blogspot.com/2020/08/shincheonji-alleged-collusion-with.html)

The same day Minister Choo posted on her Facebook saying that since she has started to reform the Korean justice she and her family have been viciously attacked on a personal level and that the Shincheonji harassment is the last one of a long series ( https://shincheonji360.blogspot.com/2020/08/minister-of-justice-choo-mi-aes.html )

What was the response of the United Party at this point? One would hope they strongly denied their relationship with Shincheonji and firmly condemned the attempt of Shincheonji to impeach a minister and systematically influence the public opinion. But instead they said all these accusations and mean comments about Minister Choo that are flooding the internet are the expression of the public feelings and that she should take responsibility and stop whining…

5. And so…

And so it may be true! They may be colluded with Shincheonji! The old guy made it again, another twist in the plot, another trick of his… So what’s their deal? They decided to collaborate to get rid of Minister Choo so Shincheonji can keep its leader and the United Party can keep a justice system somehow favourable to it?
