 Shincheonji: “The One Heart Apartment is not an accommodation facility... the ultimatum of the Daegu local government

Today Shincheonji has reaffirmed that the One Heart Apartment is not a facility where Shincheonji 

members live together and that SCJ is actively cooperating with the authorities. However, more 

than 500 Shincheonji members are still refusing to be tested. If they will not cooperate by tomorrow, the 

local government will lodge a complaint. The reporter is Kim Jeong-ah. 

They repeated that One Heart Apartment is not a facility of the Daegu SCJ Church. They 

emphasized that the church has never introduced this apartment as an accommodation to the saints.  

Spokeperson of the Shincheonji Thaddeus tribe: “I think that in the SCJ church the paths of 5 or 

10 people have crossed. They do not reside in a group facility. It's a residence that they knew 

personally."

Today, SCJ has sent an official paper to the believers requesting them to cooperate 

and follow the authorities directions.

However, among the members of the Daegu Shincheonji Church 

there are still more than 500 people to be tested.

The Daegu local government has tested the 95% of the 10,719 members included on the list that Shincheonji provided. Among the members still to be tested, 23 couldn't be located.

The Daegu local government intends to request the intervention of the police to track them down.

Also, there is an ultimatum for those that weren't tested. “I notify the executive order to open a legal procedure agaist those that will not be tested by March the 9th.”

The Daegu local government said that among the 9,229 members of SCJ that were tested, 4,046, the43%, had a positive diagnosis.
