The first virus vaccine to prevent the Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Lee Man-hee), is the “heresy genealogy.” The places that had the greatest influence on Lee Man-hee were Park Tae-seon's Olive Tree and Yoo Jae-yeol's Tabernacle Temple.

According to Lee Man-hee, in 1957, when he was 27 years old, he entered Sosa Faith Village and spent 10 years there. In 1966, in Makgye-ri, Gwacheon under Mt. Cheonggye, a tabernacle temple was built by Yoo In-gu and Yoo Jae-yeol and his son, claiming to be the two witnesses and the refuge of the end of the world.

Yoo Jae-yeol, who was 18 years old at the time and called the “young servant,” drives out his father and takes over the church. From 1966, they insisted on the judgment of fire three and a half years later and 144,000, and they spread the theory of a time-limited apocalypse. Upon hearing this news, many of the Faith Village believers withdrew and moved to the Tabernacle Temple, forming a group residence in Makgye-ri, Gwacheon. Lee Man-hee was also among the group that migrated around 1967.

In the end, at the end of 1969, three and a half years later, the claim to end the time limit ended in fraud.

Many disappointed people left the Temple of the Tabernacle, and among them was Lee Man-hee.

Taking this opportunity, a number of factions emerge from the Veiled Temple.

With the misfire of the end of the time limit, at the end of 1969, Mok Yeong-deuk, who first called himself ‘Silo’, established the 8th Day Church with dozens of people who had resigned. At this time, Lee Man-hee also followed Mok Yeong-deuk for about six months and then went back to Cheongdo, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

In 1971, Gu In-hoe, who was also from the Faith Village (Olive Tree), established the New Village Evangelism Society and the Heaven Gospel Mission (aka the Church of the Feast of Tabernacles), claiming to be the Root of David and the Second Coming Jesus. In 1974, Kim Poong-il (later renamed Kim No-ah), who was also from the Faith Village (Olive Tree), established Shiloh Church and New Light Lighthouse Central Church (currently New Light Central Church), claiming to be another Counselor.

In 1977, Baek Man-bong, who was one of the 7 angels of the Temple of the Tabernacle, claimed to be the Lord and established the Recreation Church. On March 13, 1980, he argued for a time-limited eschatology that heaven would come with the end of the world.

Lee Man-hee, who returned to his hometown, appears again here. In the fall of 78, Lee Man-hee enters the Church of the Recreation of Baek Man-bong and becomes one of the 12 apostles. Shincheonji initially claimed that this place was the physical fulfillment of Sardis Church, one of the seven churches in the Book of Revelation, but now denies this fact itself.

March 13, 1980 finally arrived, but the long-awaited end times and heaven did not come. Lee Man-hee, as if he had waited, called himself another Counselor, one who overcomes, and a worker like John the Apostle, and established Shincheonji Church of Jesus on March 14 of the same year.

As such, Lee Man-hee is just another cult and another pseudo-religious leader who continues the genealogy of the previous cults and pseudo-religious leaders. If you organize the genealogy, it leads to 'Park Tae-sun (Olive Tree) → Yoo Jae-yeol (Terbanercle Temple) → Mok Yeong-deuk (8th Day Church) → Baek Man-bong (Recreation Church) → Lee Man-hee'. And already, dozens of religious leaders claiming to be Lee Man-hee's successors are waiting eagerly for Lee Man-hee's death.

Doctrine is what follows along with the genealogy of cult. Just as viruses mutate and appear in various variants, heretical doctrines appear in various forms as they are modified, mixed, supplemented, evolved, and changed.

Still, the big flow of their doctrine is the same. The seven major common doctrines of Koeran pseudo-religious heresies, including Shincheonji, are as follows.

First, it is the doctrine of 'the Righteous of the East'.

Interpreting the East in the Bible as Korea or a specific region in Korea (Shincheonji, Gwacheon), they claim that their leader is a righteous man from the East in Isaiah.

Second, the doctrine of 'Saviors by Age (the Central Figure Theory)'.

Different saviors appear in each era, and each time they insist that we believe in the savior of that era. Shincheonji teaches ‘Adam-Noah-Abraham-Moses-Joshua-Jesus-Lee Man-hee’ and expresses them as the ‘promised pastor’ for each era.

The third is the doctrine of the 'Three Ages'.

The Bible divides the Old Testament Age and the New Testament Age into two, centered on Jesus Christ, but cult teaches that the time of the Old Testament Age is 4000 years and the time of the New Testament is 2000 years, plus that now is the era of new 1000-year. In the new era, they insist that people must believe in their new doctrine to be saved. Shincheonji describes it as ‘Old Testament Era – First Coming Era – Second Coming Era’.

Fourth, the doctrine of 'Parables', which is also called the 'pair of words'.

They claim that the Bible is sealed with parables, and only their religious leaders can solve the parables. They ignore the context and arbitrarily interpret Bible verses by connecting them around words as if they are looking for a pair.

Fifth, it is the doctrine that spirit and body become one and God and man become one.

It is the claim that the spirit and the body become one and the body does not die and lives forever. Shincheonji claims that the spirits of the 144,000 martyrs and the bodies of the 144,000 Shincheonji followers will become one and rule this land for 1,000 years without dying.

Sixth, their leader is God, Second Coming Jesus, another Counselor, Zerubbabel, the one who overcomes, the olive tree, the two witnesses, the rider on a white horse, the child who will rule the nations with an iron scepter, the one who breaks the seals, the one who seals, the wife of the Lamb, the one who received and ate the sealed book, the one who received revelation directly, and the one who distributed food at the right time.

Seventh, they claim their organization as Mount Zion, New Jerusalem, New Heaven and New Earth, Millennial City, Holy City, and Kingdom of Heaven on earth. These false doctrines are a vicious virus that makes the souls of believers sick.
