Shincheonji Status Report in Texas, USA
A Shincheonji Harvester infiltrated an American church
Recruitments through a club in a college
Five of the 12 tribes of Shincheonji are active in the United States. The John tribe is headquartered in Los Angeles and is the largest tribe operating in Sacramento, San Francisco, Davis, Seattle, Washington D.C., Vancouver Canada, Alaska, and Latin American countries. The Thaddeus tribe is active in Chicago, New York, New Jersey, and Indiana, and the Simon tribe is active in Atlanta and Montreal, Canada.
The Thomas tribe is based in San Francisco and San Jose, and finally, the Matthias tribe is active in the Texas area. In this issue, I would like to talk about the news of a Shincheonji Harvester who recently infiltrated an American church in Austin, Texas and has been active for about a year, and the situation of the Matthias tribe in Houston, Texas.
A Shincheonji harvester who infiltrated a church in Austin, Texas and recruited 6-7 people to Shincheonji bible study for a year
On March 26, 2022, Pastor Rusty Fletcher, who is in charge of A Fountain of Life Worship Center in Austin, Texas, received an unbelievable text message from a female church member. The text she sent was, “Pastor, I chose to follow God, not man or "Great men of God" A (her husband) and myself will not be attending A Fountain of Life Worship Center. Everyone will know that he is God!!!”
▲The contents of the text message sent to the pastor before leaving the church by a member of “A Fountain of Life Worship Center” in the United States, who was recruited by the Shincheonji Harvester. That was the last time. After the letter, she and her husband left the church. Her leaving the church was a big shock to the pastor and his wife. This is because she has been active in the church as a Bible study leader for female members for a long time. How did this happen? After confirming the seriousness of the situation, the pastor came to know the truth and found out that a new member who started attending about a year ago was a Shincheonji member, a harvester.
▲ Senior Pastor Rusty Fletcher of A Fountain of Life Worship Center in Austin, Texas, appeared on GoodTV News and testified about the harvester who entered his church. (Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zz-QWKBVDbw&t=42s) (Text in the picture: "She targeted, specifically.. We had a lady in our church, the leader of our ladies group. I guess she thought I can get that lady then I can get a bunch more of these ladies."
It was confirmed that the Shincheonji harvester targeted the female Bible study leader who sent the text message, approached her closely for a long time, and established a close relationship, and through it, she was recruited to take the Shincheonji online Bible study. What was more shocking to the pastor was the fact that there were 6-7 more members who were recruited by this harvester to attend the Shincheonji online center.
Considering that the total number of members of A Fountain of Life Worship Center is about 150, it was by no means a small number. As soon as this happened, the pastor hurried to crack down on the members and began to inform the outside about the seriousness of Shincheonji.
Before this incident, neither the pastor nor any of the members of the church had ever imagined that there would be a cult like Shincheonji that recruits people with lies. Who on earth can imagine that someone would lie from beginning to end to spread their religion? The activities of the Shincheonji Harvesters are not just happening in Texas.
Similar situations occur across the United States and abroad, but in this case, their activities are only clearly revealed. The part I paid attention to was where the harvester was sent from? I suspect the harvester was a member of the Matthias in Houston, Texas.
It takes about three hours by car from A Fountain of Life Worship Center in Austin, Texas to the headquarters of the Matthias tribe in Houston, Texas. It's not that close, but if the Matthias of Houston was thinking of opening a new branch in Austin, it wouldn't have been too difficult to send a harvester even if it was three hours away. Pastor Rusty said that the harvester's address was near the church. If so, it can be assumed that Shincheonji had a plan to set up a new branch by sending members living in Austin to nearby churches as harvesters.
Shincheonji Matthias tribe is active mainly at the University of Houston, Texas.
The number of registered members of the Matthias tribe of Texas is about 150, and the attendance is estimated to be about 100. The Matthias tribe has been active for a long time based at the University of Houston, Texas. The shocking fact is that, according to the testimony of a member who left the Shincheonji Matthias in Houston, they formed a Christian club called Sprouts at the University of Houston and rented the school's event room for Bible study, worship, and meetings. Not only have they been recruiting students by deceiving themselves that they are Shincheonji, but the 100,000 graduation ceremony of Shincheonji held in November 2019 was also held in the event room inside the University of Houston.

▲ At the 100,000 graduation ceremony of Shincheonji in 2019, it is estimated that the Houston Shincheonji rented the “Bayou City Room” of the University of Houston through “Sprouts,” a disguised Christian club, and held the graduation ceremony. (Text in the picture: picture 1 - The Houston Shincheonji graduation ceremony video introduced at the 2019 Shincheonji 100,000 graduation ceremony, picture 2 - A photo of the Bayou City Room from the University of Houston website)
It is a shocking fact that Shincheonji's graduation ceremony was being held in an American university, and the school authorities were completely unaware of the fact. Currently, the Houston Matthias is active under the name of Harvest Mission Church (https://harvestmission.church/). If you go to the homepage, the senior pastor is introduced as Walton Jones.
▲Houston Shincheonji Head Instructor, Houston Shincheonji introduces the head “Instructor” as the head “pastor” to show the “Harvest Mission Church”, a Shincheonji church, as if it were a regular church.
However, this person was also introduced as an instructor of the Houston Matthias tribe in an article published by Pastor Shin Hyun-wook of the Guri First Church on August 30, 2019, on the topic of "Shincheonji's Recent Recruitment Status and Countermeasures". He is not a pastor of the church, but a head instructor in Houston Shincheonji.
Shincheonji says that the pastor is a false shepherd who delivers Satan's words. Therefore, in his book Creation of Heaven and Earth, Shincheonji leader Lee Man-hee said, "We at Shincheonji have not learned the theology of this world. We do not use the term "pastor" in the same way the churches of the world do because we do not follow the Christian tradition of ordainment by the laying on of hands. Instead, we use the term "instructor" for people who teach the revelation of heaven by receiving the holy spirit."(「The Creation of Heaven and Earth」in English version p.327-328) Nevertheless, Houston's head instructor is disguising himself as a 'pastor' to falsely recruits college students.
If you take a closer look at the website of the Shincheonji disguised church, Harvest Mission Church, you can find a link with the University of Houston's Shincheonji Christian disguised club, Sprouts. The church's website describes the place of worship as follows: “We had been meeting in the Midtown room at the University of Houston every Sunday, since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we have had to give up meeting in person for the safety of our members."
▲Harvest Mission Church meeting place, Houston Shincheonji is introducing that the place of worship before the pandemic was the Midtown Room within the University of Houston.
What is noteworthy here is that before the pandemic, the Harvest Mission Church met in the University of Houston's Midtown Room. So, did the church rent the University of Houston's Midtown Room in its own name? If you go to the University of Houston's website, you can still see all of the pre-pandemic event room reservations.
▲University of Houston “Midtown Room” reservation status in February 2020 before the pandemic. The “Midtown Room” is the same place as the room reserved for worship by the Christian club Sprouts, made by the Houston Shincheonji under the guise of camouflage, and the room that the Harvest Mission Church claims to have held worship.
I checked which groups booked a Midtown room every Sunday during the month of February 2020, before the pandemic. It was a Christian club called Sprouts. I compared the photos of the worship service on the website of the Harvest Mission Church with those of the Midtown Room provided by the University of Houston. Although the arrangement of the chairs was different, it was possible to infer that the two photos coincided with the picture frame on the wall, the projector, and the front screen.
▲ Looking at the photos of the worship service on the website of the Harvest Mission Church, a disguised church for the Shincheonji Church in Houston, it is presumed that the meeting was held in a rented “Midtown Room” at the University of Houston. (Text in the picture: picture 1 - Worship on the website of Harvest Mission Church, a Shincheonji Church in Houston, USA, picture 2 - A photo of the Midtown Room on the University of Houston website, USA.)
Who can stop Shincheonji's recruitment, where everything is a lie from beginning to end?
The biggest problem is that it's hard to find clues that can be found anywhere on the website of the Harvest Mission Church, or Sprouts disguised as a Christian club within the University of Houston, as well as the story of the harvester who infiltrated a church in Austin, Texas for a year. Why don't they say that they are Shincheonji? This is because the moment they reveal their identity, their recruitment activities will be in vain.
Who can believe that Lee Man-hee is the only "Promise Pastor" and that only through the promised pastor can one come to Jesus and receive salvation? When they recruit, they cannot state the core doctrines they believe in. That's why you need to study the Bible for six to eight months.
Only after they go through a brainwashing process using the Bible as a tool to make them trustworthy, will they be able to inject the nonsensical story that Shincheonji is the new heaven and new earth and that Lee Man-hee is the “promised pastor”. Who will be able to stop the cults that are ruining people's lives in such nonsensical ways?
Only each of us, the church, established by Jesus Christ can do that. We are debtors. We are debtors who received the grace of Jesus Christ on the cross who saved us from dying in the pit of darkness. How can we just let go of souls that are being dragged into a cult without knowing anything? If we do not have a soul-loving heart, our faith is dead. This is because we do not know or have forgotten the love of Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for me, who had no choice but to die.
We must repent our hardened hearts and beg the Lord to pour out our soul-loving hearts. We must save a soul who is deceived and dying by a cult-lie without knowing anything. The church must stop the recruitment activities of Shincheonji and cults.
