Subreddit dedicated to Shincheonji ex-members targeted?
This is just a summary of the weird events that are going on in the subreddit Shincheonji.
- The moderators of the subreddit Shincheonji received this message in the beginning of June 2020
- Towards the end of August there was a weird growth in the subscriptions to the subreddit Shincheonji. From 300 users on August 22 to 500 on August 27.
- The mods received another message at the end of August
- Just before that, two new Reddit groups dedicated to Shincheonji ex-members, exscj and Exshincheonji, had appeared. They both reached 1K subscribers within a few hours even if they had almost 0 posts, 0 comments, 0 likes. They were taken down soon after that.
- Meanwhile, some of the posts on the subreddit Shincheonji started to get downvoted so that they became hardly visible
