On the 10th, the National Shincheonji Victims Natural University met with Lee Yong-seon Lee of the Democratic Party to complain of the damage caused by Shincheonji and requested the enactment of a special law containing the real-name religious system.

In particular, they emphasized the necessity of enacting a special law, saying, "Shincheonji abuses the current laws, such as forcing children who are completely brainwashed to write a personal protection letter, so that parents cannot even know the life or whereabouts of their children."
Retirees who once worked in Shincheonji said, "If you are actually brainwashed in the doctrine of Shincheonji, you will lose your thoughts and common sense and act only as directed."
They explained, "It is a clear example of submitting a fake member list and hiding the traffic line amid this corona crisis."
Withdrawals also argued, "Illegal undercover employment and political activities are taking place inside Shincheonji," and argued that "in order to resolve these problems, active intervention from the national level is necessary."
