Shincheonji is now spreading articles titled "Unprecedented Light of the World, 100,000 Graduation Ceremony of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji Church" through YouTube, newspapers, and SNS.
The Sincheonji believers distribute unreliable articles and approach people on the streets to promote this as if it was true.
A recent report titled, "Shincheonji's 100K graduations? Fake news!" but we thought that a more accurate verification was needed and we visited the Department of Statistics at Chonnam National University on November 19, 2019 (Tue).
Our purpose was to check scientifically and mathematically the exact number of the graduates. Even after the article '100,000 completion ceremony? Fake news!' was released, Sincheonji still mentios the 100,000 graduation ceremony in Seoul.

I felt the need to clarify the truth to the believers of Sincheonji and to the people that hear their claim. So, I looked for an expert who could produce objective data and I met Park Jeong-soo, statistics professor at Chonnam National University's College of Natural Sciences, in his office.
I brought to Professor Park the videos and the photographs of the Shincheonji's graduation ceremony and I asked him if it was possible to calculate the numbers. He answered that it can be scientifically and mathematically calculated.
By selecting a still frame that can be used for statistics in the video of the 100,000 graduation ceremony of Shincheonji, it is possible to calculate the number of the participants.
He said that he results of this work would become available on November 19.
I asked for accurate statistics on the number of people attending the graduation ceremony by regional groups: the Ilsan KINTEX, the Gwangju Peter tribe, and the Busan Andrew-James tribe.
He said he would send the results via e-mail and we exchanged e-mails and contact information through a student. Finally, the material that I had been waiting for arrived.
There were four pages in total.
The first page included the calculations, the total attendance and the range of error. The estimated total number of the participants at the graduation ceremony is 46,110 people.
The numbers of the 100,000 graduation ceremony unprecedented in the world history held on November 10, whom Shincheonji boasts about, were revealed to be inflated.

On the second page, among the regional ceremonies, the number of the believers at the Ilsan KINTEX was calculated.
Ilsan KINTEX is 6 blocks wide and 8 blocks long, 48 blocks in total, with numbers written on each block.
A total of 39,513 people attended on November 10. The estimated error was 214. It was more than the I thought.
However, this number could have been distorted. If, among those who were sitting in a bachelor's cap and gown at the ilsan KINTEX that day there were some members that were already part of Shincheonji, the story would be different.
If people that were already members were made to attend the event in a cap and gown, the number 39,513 would be fictitious.
The truth about this will naturally be revealed over time through the counselings and the confessions of ex Sincheonji members.
The data released on the Internet said that it was four blocks wide and six blocks long, 24 blocks in total.
However, Professor Park Jeong-soo's analysis was more accurate. The experts' analysis was different!
The moment I saw the scientifically and mathematicallly accurate data, I knew there was a discrepancy.
So why is Shincheonji inflating the number of attendees to 100,000? Because they want to convey that Sincheonji is reviving.
They try to inflate the number of people evagelized by Sincheonji and create the illusion that the orthodox churches are decreasing in number.
This way they want to boost the morale and the unity of the believers in order to create the enthusiasm that will make them work harder next year.
It also aims at influencing the public opinion, showing that a large number of people have been evangelized and so the number of saints of the orthodox churches is decreasing. And it's a subtle strategy to make the orthodox churches feel defeated, unable to react and spiritless.
The withdrawal of Kim Nam-hee has caused a setback in Shincheonji's overseas missionary activities.
Of course, they will be led by the International Department and the Chunji Ilbo, but Lee Man-hee's ability to lead meetings with foreign figures is insufficient.
Therefore, the chairman is continuously holding "Shincheonji Open Bible Seminars" on the Internet and in various cities, making the believers of Shincheonji forget about the slogans of the past and focus on domestic development.
The people who attends the Sincheonji Open Bible Seminars are led to the centers' Bible studies, and become Sincheonji believers.At the end of the year, all these people will attend the Shincheonji graduation ceremony.
2020 will be a year of greater suffering than any other year for the Shincheonji believers. This is because large-scale events will be held, including the Sincheonji Sports Festival, the National Conference on the Integration of Religion around September 17, and a large-scale graduation ceremony in the final quarter.
2020 will be a harsher year for Sincheonji believers, who are forced to make economic and physical commitment even though there is nothing left to squeeze.
The third page was the analysis of the data about the Busan Andrew-James tribe graduation ceremony.
The data released on the Internet calculated only the number on the first floor, but Professor Park Jeong-soo's analysis showed that 84 and 76 people were also counted on the second floor.
This was another surprise in the expert's analysis. On the first and second floors, there were 2,132 people.
The fourth and last chapter analyzed the number of people at the Gwangju Peter tribe.
It was estimated to be 47 people horizontally and 90-100 people on the vertical lines with a median of 95 people. 47X95=4,465.
However, the day after the ceremony, the news reported that about 14,000 people had completed the course. They increased the number by more than three times.

On November 10, Shincheonji made a massive publicity that 60,000 people graduated at Ilsan KINTEX and 40,000 in other parts of the country and abroad.
However, objective statistical data obtained scientifically and mathematically show that this claim is false.
The true number that day was about 46,110. Even counting those who graduated overseas, the total number is less than 50,000.
Of course, this number is different if there were Shincheonji believers, dressed in academic hats and gowns. If so, the actual number of the graduate students may be a lot smaller.
More than that, the manipulation and falsehood of Shincheonji are revealed to the world. The image of Sincheonji is that of a scheme doctrine. It is strongly perceived as a group that skillfully uses lies and deception.
Shincheonji, that has doubled or increased by 2.5 times the numbers of the 100,000 graduation ceremony, revealed its deceitful nature.
However, if the already members attended the ceremony, the formula of Shincheonji being a fraudolent group would become more entrenched. In addition, the negative opinion about Sincheonji will become stronger.
