Hello, 

I created this throwaway account because Shincheonji does keep track of its naysayers and people go against its cause. I just wanted to give a fair warning that this cult is alive and well in Orange County, California. In Fullerton, they operate under "Word and Life Theology School" As stated by previous redditors, SCJ goes through rotating names so that they canhide its true affiliation with HWPL or Shincheonji.

Their meeting place is in an office in Downtown Fullerton, next to Hopscotch, and they have "bible study" meetings on a nightly basis. "Bible studies" start at 6PM, and they often end at at 10 or 11PM. I attended for about half a year, and they went over "open" and "closed" prophecies, and matching symbols/imagery in the Bible. They use the Bible extremely out of context, however, it does sound good to an initially lukewarm Christian.

If you are part of Word and Life Ministries in Fullerton, California, be warned. SCJ is a dangerous cult that uses deceptive techniques that will ultimately brainwash you.
