More warning by a current SCJ member
Make new friends. Do not let your social life be dependent on SCJ. Many of the friendships are not genuine. If they were genuine, you would not be so easily cut off when leaving SCJ or have conversations that only focus on SCJ and returning to SCJ. It is hard for many, but do not be afraid to have a new beginning.
I am still on the inside and I do not approve of the strategy of deceiving by any means necessary. Truth is truth. Although Satan has used strategy to deceive many, should we follow satan's footsteps and deceive as well? The end does not justify the means. The end leads to more distrust due to the deceit that took place.
I have been in SCJ for a long time. Both the leaders and followers are to blame. The teaching flows like a river from the top.... The followers then listen and go through many trainings on how to use strategy to deceive many. You can't willingly say that deceit and strategy is the way to build God's kingdom and use bible verses to justify this.
For those deciding: If you have the opportunity to warn others great. My advice: Leave early. RUN. It takes a lot of strength when you have been in SCJ for a long time. If you are strong enough to stay and warn others, you can do so, but it is difficult because many SCJ lives center around SCJ as the source for many things such as social connections, sense of purpose, emotional connections, relationships. Once caught in the web of lies, it is difficult but it is certainly not impossible to leave. All things are possible. This is why I continue to warn others. My advice is to leave early. There is no need to wait. There are already many testimonies of what you can expect.
